Meet Even More Maillot Homes Team Members

Posted on February 5, 2026

This past year was a huge growing year for us! Looking ahead to 2026 we are going to pass 9 homes over to clients, start 6 new projects, and oversee more interior design clients than ever before. It’s time to meet just a few of the team members responsible for accomplishing these amazing milestones!

Mauricio

Mauricio has worked in construction for most of his life, except for his time working in a coal mine while living in Columbia. Mauricio was born in Columbia but, in order to keep his family safe, he ended up having to flee to Madrid, where he spent 25 years. After his kids were grown, he moved to Canada on a whim to discover what the buzz about the oil industry was in 2005. Mauricio now works as one of our Site Assistants. When not working you can find Mauricio walking his dog, reading sci-fi novels, watching action movies, and drinking coffee with a small chocolate on the side.

Ellen

Ellen is an architect who currently works as our Project Coordinator, facilitating warranty and post possession services for our clients. When Ellen and her family were forced to move from Ukraine they lived in Sweden and Norway until eventually immigrating to Canada. This has led to Ellen’s proficiency in three languages: Ukrainian, English and Russian. In addition, she has passable Norwegian and is currently learning French! She loves the clients and team at Maillot Homes, and is always working to create strong relationships with our trade partners. When not at work Ellen’s time is spent as a mother, making and instructing pottery, and doing yoga.

Cody

Cody has spent his career doing a little bit of everything from working as a heavy-duty mechanic, a job that always had an interesting problem to solve, to working on oil rigs. His career in construction has spanned cribbing, flatwork, windows and doors, siding, soffit, fascia, eavestroughs and even working in a cabinet shop for 5 years. He currently works as one of our Site Assistants and loves the coworkers he gets to spend his time with. If he had one complaint it would be that zip ties don’t make the zipping sound anymore. When not as work Cody is spending time with his son and woodworking.

Camilla

Camilla, originally from Brazil, moved to Calgary in 2024 to complete her post graduate program. In Brazil she worked as an Interior Designer in mainly multi family developments. She loved the work as it challenged her to be creative within tight budgets and strict standards. Camilla is now one of our Interior Designers where she loves working with our clients and using their Pinterest pages as inspiration. She loves the vibrancy of a big city and is currently using her free time to explore Calgary’s dog parks with her new puppy. In her free time Camilla loves hanging with friends and playing board games.

Rob

Rob has been the owner and President of Maillot Homes since 2005. His focus over the past 20 years has been to create a transparent home building process for clients, a fun and creative work environment for staff, and to build outstanding homes. His years of experience have led Maillot Homes to be an industry leader in safe, warranty protected, and stunning luxury homes built without pretention and with care. When not at work you can find Rob training for his next marathon, cracking jokes, regaling people about that time he hit a deer with his bike, and spilling sauce on his t-shirt.
